
Phil Reichhoff
Director of Fitness & Performance
Bio:
Coach Phil Reichhoff is the Director of Fitness & Performance at Cape Henry Collegiate. At Cape Henry he developed the school’s first strength and conditioning curriculum. In this role he is directly responsible for the development of students grade 8-12.
Prior to Cape Henry, Coach Phil worked as a strength and conditioning coach with the Washington Wizards working directly with the NBA organization assisting with all elements of performance.
His experience includes NCAA experience at Virginia Commonwealth University and East Carolina University.
At VCU he oversaw the development of Track and Field Throwers, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Men’s Golf. During his time at VCU he was a part of 6 Atlantic-10 Conference Championships across sports. Before leaving VCU Coach Reichhoff earned his Master of Education from the VCU Center for Sport Leadership.
At East Carolina University he assisted with the strength and conditioning training of all 16 NCAA Division I athletic programs. He specifically worked most closely with ECU Football and Baseball, both teams achieved national top 25 rankings multiple times.
Coach Phil has worked and studied internationally at the Dutch Olympic Training Center, England, Ireland, and France. He is a RSCC*D, CSCS, TPI Fitness Level 2, USA Weightlifting certified coach.
